Hello! I’m Alessandro Crocco an Italian-American Entrepreneur and business man operating in the Wine & Food industry. After I spent 25 year of my life in Italy I moved in New York City in 2010 and I start and operate a very successful Italian Restaurant named “La Bocca”. After few years I also open the very first and popular Italian Market Place named “Il Forno”.


My establishments are also part of the “Ospitalità Italiana” through the Italian Chamber of Commerce.

Beside these ventures my other core business is in the Wine World operating as import/export agency and working as a marketing and development consultant with many Italian wineries and  helping them to establish themselves in foreign countries like USA and Canada. 

I hold a Food & Beverage Degree from Cornell University and I’m a certified Sommelier from the AIS Italy and Court of Master Sommelier.

I started my career in advertising in 1992. My first position in advertising  was in United Kingdom. In my return to Italy I had the luck and the opportunity to work immediately with major national and international brands, giving me the chance to travel a lot in Europe and around the world accumulating a variety of experience in the communications and marketing industry.

This holistic and curious approach to this world has strongly influenced my career. My main features are the capacity to get the overview of the strategy which leads to the optimization of resources to achieve the goals.

Experiences that strongly characterized my career have been as a specialist in Field Marketing. In 2008 I started my first independent agency: Smark, my personal and modern  approach has seen me involved as a consultant for several companies putting at their service all the experience accumulated over the years. Experiences that led me to prestigious companies covering roles of Marketing and Communication Director. 

In 2013 I started my adventure in the Food Market and after two years spent to study markets and methodology for fast food business and street food standards I've created and launched my first brand: MezzaManica® a casual dining experience. This is the past…now, with my business partner Alessandro, we’re creating change in USA and the rest of the world.
